Self-pollinating sea buckthorn
The Fried Orange is an orange sea buckthorn. This sea buckthorn bears thick clusters of edible tart berries. The berries are healthy and rich in vitamin C. The fruits of the sea buckthorn are very suitable for making jam, juice or liqueur. Good resistance to diseases and fungi.
Pollination
Self-pollinating, but more successful through cross-pollination with Hergo, among others.
Pruning
Light pruning in the spring, prune the oldest branches back to a small extent.
Fertilization
Grows well on calcareous, sandy soil.
