The Doyenné du Comice is a juicy, very good hand pear. Freshly sweet and aroma in taste.
Pollination
Self-pollinating, but more successful through cross-pollination with Conference or Beurré Hardy.
Pruning
in the winter. Cut vertical branches (so -called lottery tickets). In the early years, horizontal bending of fruit -bearing branches is necessary.
Fertilization
In the autumn a rich gift of an organic fertilizer.
