The Pawpaw is a tropical fruit with a very sweet taste reminiscent of banana- ananas . The fruit is elongated and juicy. This tree produces fruit after a few years.
The flowering is very special with dark brown bells.

Self-pollinated, but more successful with 2 or more of the same plants.
Pruning
When the leaves have been removed from the plant, early in the spring or in the autumn. This tree requires little pruning due to its slow growth.

A humus-rich, moist soil.
