Mulberry
The mulberry has juicy dark fruits. The taste of a ripe mulberry is sour-sweet and aroma, the fruits are also very soft and lose juice at the slightest touch. This makes the fruit ideal for jam, juice or even wine. In the beginning the fruits are green in color, but when ripe they will take on the deep red color. The mulberry will bloom around May to June. The fruits are very similar in appearance to blackberries and the ripening time is around mid-August. The plant likes a sheltered, sunny position and can be planted in pots or in the ground.
