Issai
Actinidia chinensis Issaic
Self-pollinating mini kiwi
The Issai is a good-tasting mini kiwi with a very high vitamin C content. Very suitable for a position in the sun. Tastes very sweet and aroma .
Pollination
Self-pollinating
Pruning
Best in January, not later, because then there is a risk of exudate (so-called bleeding). In the period April – July, gradually prune back long 1-year-old shoots to about 15 cm past the last fruit.
Fertilization
A slightly acidic, airy soil is ideal. Needs a fair amount of well-rotted compost regularly during the growing season. 7 to 8 kg of compost per square meter every year is not an exaggeration.
