It is best to store gooseberries, spread out, in the refrigerator for a few days.
Cleaning
Wash the gooseberries just before serving and remove the stems. You can eat the skin of the gooseberry, just like with the grape.
Consumption
Gooseberries can easily be eaten out of hand.
Some people suck the gooseberries because of the somewhat stiffer skin. Gooseberries have no pit. Gooseberries are particularly suitable for making jam and compote. The gooseberry is also delicious to add to the traditional apple pie.
