Cherry Boop
Prunus avium Cherry Boop
Dwarf Cherry Boop
This nice little cherry tree grows to a maximum height of two meters and can be kept compact by topiary. Gives deliciously sweet cherries in July. Yields 10-20 kg of cherries after 4 to 5 years. Suitable for planting in a small garden or in a pot on the balcony or terrace. Hardy to -30 °C.
Pollination
Self-pollinating, but more successful through cross-pollination.
Pruning
Pruning is hardly necessary due to the slow growth. When the tree has the desired length, pinch the tops of the new shoots with your thumb and forefinger in the spring to keep the tree small.
Fertilization Fertilize
once a year with organic fertilizer
