Jorma

Vaccinium Corymbosum x Angustifolium Jorma

Blue Berr
de Jorma is a strong, compact bush with tasty blueberries with a mild, sweet and aroma tic taste. The bush is very hardy and up to -30 ° C is possible.

The blueberries are rich in anthocyans, this is a valuable vegetable dye. The larger the berries, the better the taste. This plant gives fruit two to three times a year and is very frost resistant. Remains compact (half-high), grow up nicely, and is therefore also suitable for planting in a small garden or in a pot for the balcony or terrace. The Jorma is a cross between the vaccinium corymbosum (normal blueberry) and the vaccinium angustifolium (wild, low blueberry).

Pollination
Self-pollinating, but cross-pollination produces larger berries.

Pruning
Apply topiary regularly.

Fertilization
Grows well in humus-rich, acidic soil. Use an organic fertilizer. Plant parts not suitable for consumption.
