Little Sweet Sister

Rubus idaeus Little Sweet Sister

Compact raspberry
The Little Sweet Sister is a unique raspberry variety because of its compact growth. This variety does not grow higher than about 80 centimeters and is therefore very suitable for planting in a small garden or in a pot on the balcony or terrace. The plant grows sturdy stems that do not need support. The medium-sized, dark red fruits have a wonderfully sweet taste.

Pollination
Self-pollinating.

Pruning
in February cut all stems back to 5 centimeters above the ground. With this variety the growth of new stems and development of blossom and fruit is very fast.

Fertilization
Raspberries like humus-rich, slightly acidic soil and therefore require an organic fertilizer.
