Rubus idaeus Heritage
Red Raspberry
The Heritage is a very firm, round, bright red small raspberry with a good sweet taste, not juicy. Vigorous growth, has spiny shoots and short fruit stems. Good production. Easy to pick and also suitable for jam.
Pollination
Self-pollinating.
Pruning
If you want to be able to harvest twice a year, cut away every empty stem and leave all the new ones. If you want one big harvest in the fall, cut all the branches 10 cm above the ground at the end of October after the plant has produced fruit.
Fertilization
Raspberries like humus-rich, slightly acidic soil and therefore require an organic fertilizer. Not prone to diseases.
