Red-green stewed apple
A very popular stewed apple. Apples from the Zoete Ermgaard can be stored in a cool place until February/March. The apple is firm, dry and sweet. This makes the Zoete Ermgaard very suitable for stewing.

Pollination
Self-pollinating, but more successful through cross-pollination with, among others, Sterappel .

Pruning
Preference is given to pruning just before flowering. Prune generously, remove enough wood. Bend fruit-bearing branches horizontally. Trim vertical branches completely.

Fertilization
In the autumn a rich gift of an organic fertilizer. When the fruit is rich in the summer, do it again. Add lime moderately for sweeter fruits.
