Summerred is a fairly firm and juicy eating apple with a fresh sour aroma . Suitable for small gardens.

Self-pollinating.

Prune
In winter or around July 1. Slow growing with drooping branches, so don't prune too much. Only shorten fruit branches that are too long.

Fertilization
In the autumn a rich gift of an organic fertilizer. When the fruit is rich in the summer, do it again. Add lime moderately for sweeter fruits.
