Green hand apple
A green, lightly speckled apple with sometimes a yellow or pinkish blush. The sour taste and firm flesh make the Granny Smith apple a good eating apple. This is also a good storage apple. Good productivity.

Cross-pollination through Gala, James Grieve or Summerred .
Prune
In winter or around July 1.
Fertilization
In the autumn a rich gift of an organic fertilizer. When the fruit is rich in the summer, do it again. Add lime moderately for sweeter fruits.
