Glory of Kapelle

Malus domestica Glory of Kapelle

The result after years of experimenting: a new apple variety!
'Glory of Kapelle' is the new apple variety from Kapelle in Zeeland. The apple has a special, but tasty and unique aroma . This apple tree is really a new apple that has not been released before. The apple has previously been mentioned in local newspapers under the name 'Roem van Maalstede'.

A hobby grower from Kapelle, Adrie van Liere, was responsible for the creation of this apple variety. After his retirement he volunteered for the Fruit Growing Museum. Unfortunately he has now passed away, but the apple 'Glory of Kapelle' lives on.

Highly recommended for the enthusiast, but also for someone who wants a unique type of apple in the garden. The tastiest yellow apple there is!
