Prune
In winter or around July 1. Prefers a lot of small cuts. If the tree is not espalier, bend fruit-bearing branches horizontally. Provide sufficient light in the base.

In the autumn a rich gift of an organic fertilizer. When the fruit is rich in the summer, do it again. Add lime moderately for sweeter fruits.
