Dwarf almond
Prunus dulcis Dwarf almond
Dwarf almond
This nice little almond tree can be kept compact by topiary and produces real fruits. Suitable for balcony and terrace, but can also be planted in the ground. Dry and store fruits in a cool place.
Pollination
Self-pollinating, but with manual pollination (by brush) more successful.
Pruning
Pruning is almost not necessary. When the tree has the desired length, pinch the tops from the new shoots with your thumb and forefinger in the spring to keep the tree small.
Fertilization
Fertilize once a year with organic fertiliser.
