Apple Fritters

Necessities

2 apples (e.g. Jonagold)
2 eggs
320 gram flour
2 tablespoons peanut oil
100 gram sugar
3 dl cherry
icing sugar

Preparation method

1. Split the eggs.
2. Beat in the yolks with the sugar.
3. Pour in the oil and beer.
4. Sift the flour into the batter and a pinch of salt.
5. Mix everything well to a smooth batter.
6. Beat the egg whites and fold through the rest of the batter.
7. Heat the deep fryer to 170 degrees.
8. Peel and core the apples with an apple corer.
9. Cut them into equal slices about 1 cm thick.
10. Place the apple slices one by one in the batter and fry until golden brown.
11. Serve with powdered sugar.
